Do I need a license to rent a boat in Dubrovnik?
No license is needed to rent a boat in Dubrovnik on our Pasara (5HP) — perfect for couples and small families wanting a relaxed boat hire in Dubrovnik. For everything 60HP and above (Barracuda, Fisher, Quicksilver) you need a Croatian-recognised skipper license, or you can take the same boat with one of our MMPI-licensed skippers from €120/day.
How much does it cost to rent a boat in Dubrovnik?

What is included in the boat rental?
Every Dubrovnik boat rental includes fuel for the agreed route, snorkel gear, fresh towels, bottled water, Marina Frapa fees, and full Croatia Osiguranje liability insurance. Skipper, on-board catering, and fuel for longer-distance routes (Mljet, Korčula, Montenegro border) are add-ons quoted before the charter. Nothing extra appears at return.
Where do I pick up the boat?
Every boat hire in Dubrovnik on this site departs from Marina Frapa, Lapadska obala 21a, Dubrovnik 20000 — Lapad peninsula, west of the Old Town. 10 minutes by taxi from the Old Town walls, or a short walk from any Lapad bay hotel. We send a live pickup pin via WhatsApp the night before your charter.
Can I cancel if the weather is bad?
Yes — full refund or free reschedule when winds exceed 15 knots or the harbourmaster issues a small-craft warning. Captain Ivan makes the call by 7am the morning of your trip.
Should I book direct or through GetYourGuide / Viator?

Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Children's life jackets sized 0-3, 4-7, and 8-12 are stocked on every boat. The Quicksilver 675 and 755 SD are the most family-friendly with shaded Bimini and built-in swim ladders.
Do you sail to Montenegro or Italy?
No — our MMPI charter registration covers Croatian territorial waters only. Day trips south as far as the Montenegro border, full-day yacht charter Dubrovnik to Mljet or Korčula, and overnight charters within Croatia are all permitted and popular.
What if I'm new to driving a boat?
For the no-license Pasara, Captain Ivan gives a 15-minute intro at the dock — controls, anchor, radio. For everything else you must hold a recognised license or rent with a skipper.
Can we sleep on the boat?
Yes — overnight charters available on Quicksilver 755 SD and 805 SD (cabin + WC). Per-night rate is the daily rate × 1.4 (covers fuel, marina overnight, second-day skipper if needed). Book via the inquiry form below.

Our home dock is at Lapadska obala 21a, on the Lapad bay side of Dubrovnik. Quiet, easy parking, no Old Town crowd. We send live pickup pins via WhatsApp the night before.
